Neuroscience/Neurology is a highly inter-disciplinary course with subjects like biology, physics, chemistry, physiology, anatomy, technology, and engineering. The curriculum consists of modules involving the structure, behaviour, and function of the nervous system to help in the diagnosis and monitoring of the progress of the nervous system and neurological disorders. The principles of technical tests and experiments are also touched upon to ensure practical exposure. Emphasis is provided on the function of the peripheral nervous system to identify its effect on movement and sensation. Practical exposure to various machines and equipment is also provided to create capable professionals. Candidates are trained to be better decision-makers through this course.  This field has high potential in the research-based spectrum.

  • The eligibility criteria for students who are willing to pursue this course is to successfully complete their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
  • Therefore, you can go for MD (Doctor of Medicine) in general medicine or Pediatrics.
  • After completing these courses, one can study for specialization in the field of Neurology.
  • To get admission to a specialization course, you have to apply for the entrance exam that is conducted by the several Institutions.
